WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Participating bloggers answer 3 simple questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you going to read next?

Currently Reading

  • Knight’s Shadow by Sebastien de Castell – been on hold for a while though
  • Dark Witch by Nora Roberts: this is the first in a trilogy. I read about half today on my commute, I am liking it more than I was anticipating based on some other reviews so I will probably continue with this trilogy and review all 3 books in one review.

Recently Finished: SO MANY REVIEWS TO DO

  • The Bookseller by Cynthia Swanson
  • The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes
  • Bird Box by Josh Malerman
  • Demelza by Winston Graham
  • The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber
  • Among Others by Jo Walton
  • The Paris Wife by Paula McLain
  • The Supernatural Enhancements by Edgar Cantero

Planning to Read Next

  • Jeremy Poldark by Winston Graham
  • Might try reading fewer books at a time and taking a small reading hiatus in order to catch up on all of these reviews.

Have you read something great lately? How is your reading progress this week? I want to know 🙂

  • I have two audiobooks in my car – The Boston Girl (Anita Diamant) and The Paris Wife (Paula McLain) – but I don’t know which I want to read first. I am sort of not in the mood for either of them at this instant. After listening to Ready Player One I feel like no other audiobook is ever going to top it for me. I have to go to the library after work to return some things so maybe I’ll find some more future reads there.

  • Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I am absolutely loving this. I have 5 more discs to go (of 13 total)
  • All of the same books as last week aside from The Shining which I finished.

Recently Finished

Planning to Read Next

  • NetGalley books, though I am now realizing I probably will never catch up since I always find something new that gets in the way :p
  • Ross Poldark by Winston Graham – have heard only great things about this series, and I want to watch the show too
  • Some more Neil Gaiman short story collections
  • I have the entire The Selection series books from the library in my car, I figure I can finish them all in a weekend and do one review for the whole series.

Please share your WWW in the comments and your thoughts on mine if you would like!! 🙂

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Participating bloggers answer 3 simple questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you going to read next?

Currently Reading

  • Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. The audiobook is amazing and I’ve been finding myself wishing that my commute was *longer* so I could get through it quicker. I bought the paperback for Anthony but I’m trying to resist speeding through it since I really do love the audiobook. PLUS I am even more hyped about this book because of all the recent news about its movie adaptation!
  • The Shining by Stephen King. I am making slow progress because I can only read it during the daylight hours when the TV is on and I’m not home alone :p Even though I already know how it ends, it’s terrifying.
  • Knight’s Shadow by Sebastien de Castell. This is still good, following much of the same structure as Traitor’s Blade.
  • The Complete Stories by Flannery O’Connor. I really haven’t had a chance to get through as much of this as I want to, though I did read a longer one of the stories this morning.
  • I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes. Honestly I have not opened this book in weeks but I almost never abandon books (I really need to learn how to do that) so one day I’m making myself finish. It really isn’t BAD, I just keep getting distracted by other books!!

Recently Finished

Planning to Read Next

  • A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. This book caught my eye darker shadewhile browsing in Waterstones in London on my honeymoon and I just got it from the library, but I have no idea where I put the library book!!! As soon as I find it I will begin.
  • The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman
  •  lemoncholyThe Lemoncholy Life of Annie Aster by Scott Wilbanks. I know nothing about this book but something about the cover just spoke to me in the store so I got it. Sometimes I do that. :p

Any thoughts on my WWW? As always, feel free to share. 🙂
